WHAT HAPPENS ON A PHOTOSHOOT?

Good question. The way I work is largely improvisational, with perhaps a few vague thoughts and/or props for use. I find shoots far more satisfying if they have a degree of spontaneity to them though occasionally I might have a theme or mood I want to pursue, which will be mentioned before hand. If there is anything that you would like to contribute to the proceedings then by all means let me know and I'll be happy to incorporate that into whatever we do.

Shoots generally begin with a warm up, a period of maybe 20 minutes working up to whatever levels have been discussed, by way of an ice-breaker and a transition into our respective roles of photographer and model. We'll then work on two or three ideas towards my usual images and if you are up for it also on some work for my Mutoscope Animations or other projects: Thoughts Upon the Theme of Distortion or The Futile Nature of Eroticism - whichever appeals to you.

I'D LIKE TO APPEAR IN ONE OF YOUR FILMS.

These are a far more scripted endeavor (obviously) and are usually written specifically for whoever is appearing in them after a discussion about possible moods and themes. We will have an initial shoot first though, so I can get a proper idea of how you work and look in images and if all goes well then a film shoot can be arranged. These generally take place over a two shoots with a few weeks in between.

In return for this you will receive a DVD containing the movie, as well as all the associated fame and glory that appearing in my work entails. For sure.

WHAT DO I GET FROM A SHOOT & CAN I USE THE PHOTOS MYSELF?

You're very welcome to use the photos however you see fit as long as I am given appropriate credit. I won't be providing you with a CD of all the images though as I work towards specific images an will often shoot dozens of times working towards a desired end result. Therefore, you will receive the finished photos, will range from 5-10 high resolution images.

I'm also happy to provide a handful of 10x8 prints free of charge.

WHERE/WHEN DO SHOOTS TAKE PLACE?

I'm not as blessed as I previously have been with a great location. I'm currently living in Finsbury Park and have an average sized room, which with a little moving of furniture makes for a workable studio. There are various other nooks and crannies around the house that I can use as well and do have access to a number of other locations in the surrounding area (houses of friends and the like.)

If you have a space that we can use then that is all the better for me. Be that a messy bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, old shed - whatever is fine and is even preferable as it leads to a pleasant mixture of locations in my work.

CAN I BRING A CHAPERONE?

You can. To be honest, I prefer you not to as past experience shows that this can be a distraction, but if it will help you to relax then you are welcome to - though please not a boyfriend/partner as this has caused disruptions previously that i could really do without.

CAN YOU PROVIDE REFERENCES?

DO YOU USE A MAKEUP ARTIST OR OTHER STYLIST?

No, this is a one man show here, and you will be responsible for providing clothing and applying your own makeup.

I NOTICE SOME IMAGES ON YOUR SITE THAT WOULD MAKE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE...

I will never ask you to do anything beyond the levels we have previously agreed, so don't fret about me asking things that are passed these levels. There is obviously an element of sexuality in what I do and to some degree I will presume you are comfortable with this, or you probably wouldn't be reading this in the first place...

I'M A BIT SENSETIVE ABOUT MY BUTT/ARMS/CHIN/SHINS/TOES/ETC

Please do let me know before the shoot if there is a certain body part you would rather not take center stage. I'm happy to avoid offending areas, but would like some prior warning so as to not plan for something that shall not be...

WHAT CLOTHES SHALL I BRING?

I dread this question as I never have an answer for it other than "Stuff". I do tend to avoid Fetish conventions, so bringing along a PVC corset is probably going to be a waste of time, but I like to have a few different outfits to play with...by which I don't necessarily mean crazy costumes, just a good selection of clothing and underwear to pick and choose from. For me, the clothing is one of the least important part of the shoots, so I will just work along with what ever you have to bring along - maybe not the most useful thing for a model to read, but it's worked thus far for me.
